We, the Beautification Committee of the City of Clyde, feel it is of the utmost importance for our City to remain an attractive city for those who live here or would want to move here. 

OUR MISSION: We pledge to continually take an overview of our city, and within our means of support from the community, undertake the projects to increase appeal and beauty of this great small town.

Make your pledge now to reserve your pole or brick, payment does not need to be made until just before the poles and bricks are ordered! 

There are only 23 pole plaque sponsorships available and 92 places for bricks.

Purchase a Streetlight Pole - $3,000

Pole will be marked with your name, family name or business name on a plaque.

Purchase a Footing Brick - $500

A brick at the base of the lightpole can be purchased with your name, family name or business name recognized.

With the approval and support of the Clyde City Council, the current endeavor of the Clyde Beautification Committee is to secure funding for its proposed downtown streetlight project through grants, fundraising pledges and donations by individuals, businesses, civic groups and family memorials.  The total projected cost of this project is $125,000.

This project proposes the replacement of the current downtown streetlights with more decorative and attractive light poles. The light pole and fixture that have been selected by the group will contain a place for the current Clyde banners and a flag pole area.  The bronze pre-stressed concrete pole will carry a scroll design in the arm in keeping with the previous style for downtown Clyde.
