Calendar of EventsClifton-Clyde School Calendar Community Activities The Little Festival on the Prairie will feature 25 bands playing a variety of music from bluegrass to alternative at the LCL Buffalo Ranch east of Clyde over the May 30th to June 1st weekend. Worship and prayer will be available around the clock at the Prayer Barn. Tours of the ranch, the buffalo, and museums as well as a children’s play area are part of the weekend fun. Camping is free and many food vendors will be present. The festival is sponsored by Kingdom Promotions, a non-profit ministry located in Clay Center. The Grand Opening for Wonderland in downtown Clifton did not occur last month as advertised. Owner Robert Gruenberg instead placed Wonderland on the eBay market with an opening price of $150,000 after deciding to work on a Hollywood movie based on a script he’s written. Though he received a matching bid, Gruenberg says he may keep the former What Not City property. The Senior Citizens’ Center is open for coffee daily from 2-4 while the convenience store is closed. The Cloud County Food Bank is asking people to help raise $10,000 in the county by April 30th to qualify for a funding match by philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein and his $1 million challenge to help end hunger in America. They are accepting cash or food donations at 107 West 7th in Concordia or PO Box 195; Concordia, KS 66901. To have meals delivered to your home from the Park Villa Nursing Home Food Trolley, call Cindi at 446-2818. Delivered meals cost $5.00.
