Classifieds TransitionsWeddings & Engagements Births -Luke Randall was born to Larry and Kara Nobert of Clyde on March 25th. He has 3 sisters: Elizabeth, Olivia, and Emma. Grandparents are Larry and Linda Nobert, Ames, and Randy and Mariann Affolter, Clifton. Obituaries -Maxine Balderston of Clyde died March 29th at age 80. She was a 1945 Clyde High graduate and married Wilmer “Baldy” Balderston in 1946. Maxine was a homemaker, a clerk at the Gambles store in Clyde, and a chapel assistant at Chaput Mortuary. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Saulnier of Overland Park, and two sons: Ron (and Diana) of Eagle, ID, and Craig (and Angela) of Omaha, NE. -Edna Pearson of Lamar, Colorado died April 5th at age 99. She graduated from Clyde High in 1926 and married Joseph Pearson in 1932. She lived most of her life in Clyde, was active in the Methodist Church, kept books for local businesses, and cooked at the High School. She is survived by three sons: Larry (and Dixie) of Lamar; Stanley (and Mary) of Aurora, CO; and Danny and (Jeanette) of Bartlesville, OK. She is buried in Clyde. -Stefan “Sid” Danielson, age 20, died April 9th in a motor vehicle accident. He was born to Stephanie Sorell LeBlanc and Jeffery Danielson. He was a student at Coffeyville Community College where he would have graduated in May. Survivors include his parents, Kenton and Stephanie LeBlanc, a sister Rebecca and brother Kollin of Clyde, his grandparents Steve and Jean Sorell of St. Joseph and Shirley LeBlanc of Clyde.
