The city maintains a park with a swimming pool, ball field, volleyball and tennis courts, basketball hoops, and new playground equipment. The Clyde swimming pool is open M-F, 2-7 p.m., and weekends, 1-6 p.m during the summer.

The Randolph Decker Library has books, DVDs, and internet access at its downtown location. It is open M, 2-8; T-Th, 2-6; F, 9-1; and Sat, 1-5.

Clyde's tree board has created an arboretum with gardens. The Historical Society operates a museum, and offers the community a gathering place at the newly renovated former Presbyterian church. A century-old, operating, tracker pipe organ is an outstanding feature of this building.

The Clyde Housing Authority operates an 11-unit apartment complex with some financial assistance available for those who are low-income. The city helped create the Park Villa Nursing Home which serves the community and also participates in the Meals on Wheels program.

Transportation is available to anyone in Cloud, Republic, and Mitchell counties for a small fee, 8-5 weekdays, from OCCK, Inc. OCCK also operates a shuttle from Belleville to Salina every weekday. Call 785-243-1977.

The Clyde Area Recycling Center on east Washington Street is open every Saturday from 9-11 a.m. It accepts aluminum and tin cans, plastics #1-#7, newspapers, cardboard, magazines, white office paper, books, clothing, bedding, and shoes.
